You can try to apply with the blog-specific ad networks for banner ads

Adsense is ok for making some money, but if you want to start making bigger money, you’ve got to start promoting products as an affiliate (where you can earn anywhere from a couple dollars to a couple hundred dollars per sale).
But you’ve got to learn how to do this. I’d recommend signing up for a newsletter like the Internet Wealth Creation Newsletter at as they will give you step by step instructions on how to do just this. I signed up a while ago, and the stuff they’ve given me has been pure gold.
